I have a book with design elements and pictures of my work. I tell
everyone that I never repeat a design. "You're getting an original
Work of Art!" I can do similar stuff, though. I had a run of ten
unrelated preteen girls that wanted one "just like hers" that were
all excited to get something LIKE what they wanted but a new design
of their very own. This allows you creative control to an extent but
lets the customer have some say as well, which makes everyone happy.
After all, what fun is doing the same thing over and over? In my
opinion, it takes henna from art into mere skill. Aslo, I recommend
having a couple pages of your most popular designs and rotate them.
That way everyone and their cousin doesn't get friggin vines around
their wrists all day.
Best of luck and tell us how it goes!
