And you know what? For 20.00 I don't see why she coudln't have just tipped you that money. I hate clients that don't have exact change! Normally I tell them it's okay to just write me a personal check. So far I've never had a problem with that. Secondly sounds to me that you did very well, exactly what the bride wanted, and that's not always easy. For my bridal mehndi parties, I typically like to get together with the bride a few weeks in advance and go through my books of designs with her in a non-stressful environment, like a coffee shop, sort of like a pre-henna consultation. I know this takes additional time that I'm not getting paid for, but you see where I'm going with it. It gives me the chance to figure out what she's going to want, and if bridesmaids are going to be getting hennaed too, it helps me figure out exactly what my night is going to have in store for me. The last bridal henna I did came out so gorgeous (pics are STILL not up on the page, uh Frank!).....and anyhow it was due mostly I think to good preparation. I love using jaquard bottles, it's my specialty so since I have been using them for years, this was nothing new. I don't use carrot bags because I don't feel I get the same intricacy of lines, and I don't have the same type of control, but it's just a personal preference thing. Depending upon the type of bottle you're using, I would recommend keeping the jaquard bottle VERY full, as the pressure helps illeviate some of the exertion you have to do with your thumb. I dunno just a suggestion ;)~ If I were you I'd go to the wedding. Sheesh, she owes you pics since you did so much work as far as I can see. Besides...you will be able to put your mind at ease. I'm sure everything came out fine ;D MyST
