I tell folks that most work costs between $5 and $25 and then ask them how much they want to spend. I explain that $15 for example would be an average sized mandala on the palm. I take their money, THEN do the work. This just depends on how you like to work... I commit little suicides every time someone asks me to do a design "just like hers." Because it just doesnt happen. I dont put up prices because I feel like this allows me to express my creativity. If I put the price of $10 next to a popular mandala I would be doing that mandala all night long! Of course I'm notorious for underpricing my work. C'est la vie! : I have notebooks of pages of my designs in clear plastic sleeves and : they are divided by price. Out here it's popular for 'black henna' : "artists" to have huge billboards of designs and not a price in sight. : I think it's important that things are clearly priced, its fair and : business like. I do festival patterns in the range of $5-$20
