I noticed similar results from paste made with 1 tbl Kenzi's powder,
enough lemon juice to make a crumbly paste, and enough black tea to
thin it out to pudding consistency. Then I added 1/2tsp tea tree
oil, and 1/2 tsp marjoram oil. The whole thing made about 2 tbl of
paste.

I tried the mix a few hours after mixing, and the results were
average (about what I get with just henna and lemon juice on a good
hot day). But when I tried the mix night before last, it rocked --
even on the thin skin of my inner arm. It was 4 days old at that
point.

It would be great to get a systematic test of this effect to see if
this is anecdotal or real.
