What is this? Is it harmful? Do customers mind this in there : henna? If it is a good thing does anyone know where I can order it? : Anyway the kit I tried Was The Earth Henna Kit and I was pleasantly : supprised at the stain I got. Usualy I get a verry weak stain. Also : does anyone have recomendations for A good Powder henna? I tried the : MUD brand powder and was verry dissapointed. The pre-mix is super : great but the powder was weak. Black walnut extract is made from the hulls of the black walnut tree. The problem with using it on clients is the potential for serious or life-threatening nut allergies. I would make sure to *clearly* post that your henna contains this product, and ask potential clients about allergies before you begin. I haven't seen the extract for sale, only the powder. As for weak stains, check out the threads below about cajeput and tea tree oil, and terpines. These can give your henna mix an oomph like earth henna mix has. Make sure you are letting your henna sit long enough for the dye to develop! As for henna powders, I use Castle Art henna (both the regular and Jamila). There are other suppliers around, I know that Kenzi and Lauren both carry Moroccan henna which I hear is great (but I haven't tried it yet). (and Moroccan henna has a quicker dye release than other hennas; you don't need to let it sit over night before using, though I understand the color will be darker if you do.) Good luck! Zimra, off to Sirius etc. now... back in two weeks!
