: Doesn't sound particularly promising. Maybe best to view this one
as
: an intense study and interaction weekend rather than one for profit
: and expansion.
:
: Both ways are good. When one isn't appropriate, utilize the other.
:
: I would be inclined to invite the Wiccans, or whomever, or offer to
: bring some classes to them if others wish .... but I don't know the
: territory where you are to make a judgement call. Sometimes that
: works, sometimes its quite unwelcome.
:
: "When in doubt ..... don't spend money" is an excellent business
and
: advertising rule.
i think i agree with catherine on this as a rule. start small and
build.
something that you might think about but might take too much work for
just you. you could find some others that want to teach a class in
dance, wiccan rites, tarot, painting, designing etc. i would try to
get them to not charge except for their costs. you could draw on
locals who would like to expand their areas of interest and share.
you could ask for voleenters from the dance community, SCA-socioty of
creative anacronism, any ren. faire people etc. or go beyond that and
check online to see what interest lies out there. you might be
surprised at the response, but make sure to state that this is a BIG
maybe and not set in stone. if you are interested, i could teach a
class on henna as a business, begining class or any classes for
painting on clothes-henna or just henna designs or call
it "alternitive use of skills for the henna artist". anyway there are
quite a few generous people on this page as well as out in the world
who love to teach what they love to do.
anyway ask, you might be surprised. jennifer
