market about a half hour away where I found wasabi in a tube (only it
wasn't wasabi, it was horshradish and green food colouring, which was
disappointing) and . . . tamarind candy. I haven't tasted any of it,
but I have boiled it with tea, cloves and whatever else I'm using at
the moment. I think it makes my paste just a touch stickier, but I
haven't noticed much change in colour.
