I spot tested on my palm to make sure the color wasn't stale : and it came out nice and dark on my palm. Is there a reason that it : doesn't leave as dark of a color on other parts and is there any way : I can get good, dark color on my back? To compare hands to backs- hands are sweaty and have great blood flow close to the skin, which makes them warm. They are also thick- skinned and callused. Warmth, acid, and moisture make the dye release, and callus will hold the dye longer as it exfoliates slower, if at all. Backs are not particularly sweaty or warm and if you have calluses there, I don't want to know about it! To get a decent stain on your back or other nonstandard areas, you have to cheat by using oils. Just make sure they are good quality!
