recommend), please beware of using any pre-made pastes that do not
list their ingredients. I was given a kit with pre-made paste that
listed something called "white oil" as an ingredient, which peeled
the skin right off my ankle and hand (and the hand of a friend as
well). We were both fortunate enough to not have any scarring, but
it was certainly bothersome. I consulted a professional and was told
that "white oil" could contain just about anything, but was most
often a badly distilled mixture of camphor and methol, often with a
bit of kerosene thrown in for good measure. Please be careful if you
choose to go this route.

Mixing your own paste provides you control of what goes into it.

My two cents' worth.
