IF you do decide to buy a start-up kit (which I do notrecommend), please beware of using any pre-made pastes that do not list their ingredients. I was given a kit with pre-made paste that listed something called "white oil" as an ingredient, which peeled the skin right off my ankle and hand (and the hand of a friend as well). We were both fortunate enough to not have any scarring, but it was certainly bothersome. I consulted a professional and was told that "white oil" could contain just about anything, but was most often a badly distilled mixture of camphor and methol, often with a bit of kerosene thrown in for good measure. Please be careful if you choose to go this route. Mixing your own paste provides you control of what goes into it. My two cents' worth.
