Hi!

I'd recommend that rather than buying a put-together kit, you buy the
individual pieces as it's much cheaper and you only get the stuff you
really want. I wouldn't bother with stencils, and there are enough
free patterns available online to keep you going for years, so all
you really need is the henna and something to apply it with. You can
buy premade cones or carrot bags or jacquard bottles, or make your
own cones for REALLY cheap! I recommend using cones because I am
convinced that a Jacquard bottle will eventually damage your hand,
and it's cool to watch someone using it.
For henna, I and Kenzi both sell Moroccan, and for Indian I recommend
Castle Arts, or I have also heard great stuff about Navaid. I
would recommend mixing your own henna from powder so you can control
what's going into it, rather than buying a premix, which are
sometimes doubtful in quality and very pricey. You can find lots of
places that sell henna and supplies at the "Where" sectoin of this
page- just scroll up.
