Henna doesn't come in different colors, and isn't a tattoo. Thinking
of henna as a tattoo leads people to use poisons or other things that
just aren't good for you and call them henna.
Now, if you are very patient and good, you *CAN* get henna to stain
very dark, but not on your torso. Try having henna done in a more
traditional way, not as a fake tattoo but as a stain on your hands or
feet. If the artist knows what they're doing, and you are very warm
(especially very athletic) you can get real henna to go black on these
