Geez, what a neat feeling to log on this morning after posting my
little yeah-I-did-it and see so much positive and encouraging
remarks! Thank the good gods there is a loving place for us henna
enthusiasts to come and share discoveries, accomplishments, questions
and answers.

Ok Cheryl, how long did it take me to work up the courage (grins)
well i've been painting myself and friends for about 2 years, and
didn't feel confident enough to start taking clients until this
spring, and now I finally tried to do my right hand for the first
time. So, ummm, a long time!

I started with just freehanding a few flowers and vine motifs on a
finger or two, my version of henna doodling, nothing sreiously design
oriented, just meandering little flower doodles. And when those came
out decent, I decided to just keep expanding the design. I'd be happy
to post a picture I took of it, but I don't have a site to host it
at. If anyone's really that curious, i can send the photo via email
to post.

Interesting technique, moving the dominant hand under the applicator.
That seems more intimidating to me though... just what you get good
at I guess.

Doing my right foot is damn near impossible at times, cramping up or
having parts fall asleep, tingle etc. And I'm (supposedly) one of
those flexible dancer types! Didn't think of painting my right foot
with my left hand though, might've been easier!

Left hand, Right foot -- Sophie, I remember Twister!

Bless you all to pieces for being so sweet!
Alissa
