Thank you all for your suggestions. I am going to try the charcoal
pencil way and see if it works. Thanks again
Cherry
buy a general (name brand) 6B charcol pencil and a pad of tracing
: paper. pick out your design, trace the basics, like the outline or
: even the whole thing. flip the tracing over and place charcol side
: down onto clean prepared skin. while holding in place lightly rub.
: lift tracing up carfully so as to not disturb your transfer. cover
: lines with henna. tada, a easy disposable transfer. generally they
: can be used only 1 to two times. if you use oil to prepare the skin
: you need to wipe off the excess so the transfer will take, that
goes
: for any excess liquid. this is what i used for the harder designs
: until i finally got good enough to mostly not use them. sometimes i
: still use them if i am really tired, like a really long faire or
: festival or if i know that the client is a very hard to please type
: that doesn't give for artistic licence. Or sometimes it helps with
a
: new design that you are not use too.and generally i do not waste my
: time tracing any detail, just the basic and then wing the rest.
this
: also helps train your eye to hand, it is practicing till you can do
: it with out. good luck, jennifer

: : Hi everyone!,
: : I am new to henna and would like to know if there is a way
besides
: : the hectograph pencil method ( can't find one around here) to
: remake
: : your designs like ones you find on the internet and want to make
a
: : reusable template. Is there a special kind of plastic you can buy
: and
: : use an exacto knife to cut the spaces out? Thaks in advance for
: your
: : help.
