: I would like some advice please. I have only recently read up about
: Henna and now I am dieing to try some out. I have a few questions
: first though. How much is 100grams of Henna powder? I mean how much
: of an area will that cover (solid) and does £8 sound a good price
for
: that much?

100g of henna will make so much henna paste you won't know what to do
with it! The price sounds OK too. I personally wouldn't pay more than
10 USD (about 7 GBP), but if the henna is good, 8 GBP isn't too bad.

And the next questions is probably a little more
: complicated. I first looked in to Henna because I have scars that I
: wanted to Tattoo over to hide them, I have two Tattoos already so I
: thought it was a good idea, so I asked my Tattoo artist but he said
I
: will have to wait for two years for the scars to fade or inking
them
: will just give me a nice blur and no line at all. So what I wanted
to
: ask is does the same apply to Henna'ing them? I know the darkerness
: and the take of the Henna varies on where on your skin you put it
so
: I wondered if scars will make any difference and scar tissue is
: obviously different to normal skin. They are on the insides of my
: wrists and are healed, they are just pink, hence the need to hide
: them. Any help and advice would be greatly appreciated. Sian

Henna stains very well over scars, no blurring or anything. I do find
that scars take longer to exfoliate though. You could just do a
pretty wrist band on each wrist, which covers the scars, and touch it
up whenever it starts to fade. The only problem might be getting it
to stain dark enough. Read the post below, titled "The Sirius Mixes"
for instructions on using essential oils to deepen and maximize your
stain.
