Shelly BLACK henna....

i just bought a premixed tube of shelly brand black henna from
india...i tested it out on my friend, no bad reaction. the
consistency is rather thick, and doesnt smell like real henna. when
the 'henna' is spread thin, it appears blue and is rather inkish. the
paste does not flake off the skin, rather it is absorbed wholly into
the skin. has anyone tried this brand of black henna?? it seems safe
to me and i would really apreciate some advice.....
