artistic henna "artist" *still isn't sure you can call herself that*
I've had a little success trying to put together a sort of a design
book for myself by tracing my hand *like you did in first grade to
make turkeys* and drawing in designs on the shape, kind of like
having to imagine the contours. Having the outline helps though! But
again, sometimes it looks wonderful, others... well you don't want to
see all the crumpled ones in the trash can! ;-)
