Hi Nick,
I agree with Lynn, certain rude people don't need any encouragement
and are best ignored. A person where I work tells me everytime he
sees me with henna, that my hands are dirty. It wasn't funny the
first time, nor was it the last billioneth time. This is the one who
comments about the 'heathen' things I have on my office walls, so I
can't really see their opinion counting much. My reply is
simply "yeah, isn't it amazing that I could get the dirt to fall in
this amazingly complex designs? Bet your dirt doesn't do that!" Not
the coolest intellectual or witty reply, but it shuts them up. =) You
just go on with those pretty feet and realise that some people just
weren't meant for henna.
peace

: Hi all,
: just thought of a question i wanted to ask-- what is the
rudest/most
: offensive thing anybody has ever said to you about your henna?
: I'll start with mine:
: An insurance dude was at our house, for a meting with my parents. I
: was sitting at the comp right here, probably reading the forum! I
had
: the soles of my feet solidly and deeply hennaed, and all the dude
: coud say was "you know your feet are dirty?" I just didn't even
want
: to waste my time on him, so i gave a total abbreviation of what
henna
: is. I figured i wasn't going to aggravate myself trying to make him
: understand.
: ~Nick
