black henna stain

hello to all! I'm glad to be back (was on vacation visiting the
family in Mexico). I received a email from someone saying the had a
henna tattoo done in brazil (black henna) and that the tattoo didn't
fade completely, leaving him with a dark stain (i've heard this
before). He doesn't have a scar, the question is, is there a safe way
to remove this stain??
