I agree with you...it's what the client wants and thinks that really
matters. It's like buying a present for someone; you get them what
they really want to make them happy not to please yourself.

I recently did a wedding where the bride insisted on seeing my books
but when she looked at them she kind of turned a few pages with great
disinterest and then picked a page almost at random, like she was
bored and wanted to just stop looking at designs. As luck would have
it she picked a very boring and uninspired Navneet. I had to really
pull myself together to do the design she chose even though I didn't
like it. I kept getting bounced all over the place because of a
wobbly floor, bumped by guests and because the bride kept moving. I
was MISERABLE and so displeased with my work. She, however, was
thrilled to pieces with the results. I felt is was some of my worst
work ever but she loved it so what can I do. I accepted the money
and ran! I think I should leave that particular Navneet book at home
from now on since I don't like doing the designs in it.
