In my experience, leaving the paste to sit for 8 hours beforeapplying is not long enough. I would mix the paste and use it 24-48
hours later for the best stain.
I would also add much more cajeput oil. i have been using about 20-
40 drops of EO for every tsp. of powder.
If you really want to see all of this in action, in its purest form,
make a really simple paste as follows:
henna powder
lemon juice
cajeput EO
sugar
Mix it all up, leave it to sit for 24-48 hours and then apply. Leave
the paste on for 4-6 hours, remove and wait 24 hours for it to darken
to its maximum.
