I mixed my Jamila henna with freshly squeezed lemon juice into a
henna dough, soak it for more than 12 hours then added more juice to
thin it and one tsp of cajeput (Neal's Yard Remedies) and one tsp of
T3 (an old bottle from The Scent Shop). I applied the henna 2 hours
later and left the paste on overnight (about 5 - 6 hours). The next
day the stain was a light brown. 6 hours later, the colour has
darkened to a medium brown and stayed that way. I was kinda
disappointed 'cos I expected to see a deep dark brown like
Catherine's. I wondered too if I did the mix wrong (I'm one very
impatient and restless Cancer ;)).

Strangely the design I did at on the top of my hand got darker only
after 24 hours but not as dark as Catherine's. I'm gonna mix another
batch again soon but this time I'm gonna add cajeput+pine EOs. I
wonder if my Jamila is old too *sigh*. It's a box that Catherine sent
to me a year ago. I have new Jamila and will use that. Will report
findings.

Love & peace,

~Jewel~
