The l/s helps keep the henna moist longer, so it has longer to soak into your skin. It also helps hold the wrap on. I just use toilet paper to wrap around my design & then an ace bandage on top of that. The wrap helps hold the henna on til you're ready to take it off and it also holds your body heat in. I don't use saran, but it also helps keep the henna moist and keeps heat on the design. I've found the ace bandage keeps everything in place, even with shoes on! Good luck & have fun learning!
