Critiques blow, but here's my opin-ion

I would start out a design like this with a simple dot or small
circle in the center of the hand to kind of center the design. To
help the squiggly shapes emanating from the center to look more
uniform I would try a tear drop shape, and then add swirls at the top
to maybe give it more depth. Use a toothpick to try to clean up the
shapes that got a little larger than you expected.

I see what you were trying to do with the flowers at the top, but the
single dots in the center of the petals should not be there, because
they confuse the eye. A cool way to do dottie flowers is by doing a
little miniature hexagram, six dots.

After the eight flower petals, I probably would've skipped the dots
in lieu of making a huge circle around the design that I could have
drawn triangles or something from.

I hope this helps, I know I kind of suck at giving advice.
