Critiques blow, but here's my opin-ionPosted by Darlahood on July 31, 2001 at 19:09:06: In reply to: Any Constuctive Critisizim posted by Joe B on July 31, 2001 at 16:49:10: I would start out a design like this with a simple dot or smallcircle in the center of the hand to kind of center the design. To help the squiggly shapes emanating from the center to look more uniform I would try a tear drop shape, and then add swirls at the top to maybe give it more depth. Use a toothpick to try to clean up the shapes that got a little larger than you expected. I see what you were trying to do with the flowers at the top, but the single dots in the center of the petals should not be there, because they confuse the eye. A cool way to do dottie flowers is by doing a little miniature hexagram, six dots. After the eight flower petals, I probably would've skipped the dots in lieu of making a huge circle around the design that I could have drawn triangles or something from. I hope this helps, I know I kind of suck at giving advice.
