sugar vs. honey

Hi everyone! I love this forum, and I'm learning so much. Thanks to
all who share their ideas and experiences. I'm just starting out,
haven't even had the chance to mix my own paste yet, but I will!

I've been wondering about something: I've read that sugar is often
included in paste, and used in the lemon/sugar glaze afterwards, and
that it is a humectant (it absorbs humidity from the air). Well, on
my bottle of "Kiss My Face" Honey & Calendula lotion, it says that
honey is also a humectant. So I've been wondering if anyone has
tried it intead of sugar. It seems like it would give a nice
consistency. Any feedback would be most appreciated.
