: Speed - slinging celtic knots??? LOL - I can't even slow-slop 'em
: on...gosh I need more practice

Swear to God ... Celtic knotwork laid across hip to hip below the belt
FREEHAND on rockerchicks backs in 10 minutes flat. 15 tops, if I'm
starting to get tired.

I'll endeavour to get the technique written up in an article when all
this is over.

Speedslinging is amazing stuff if you can get a handle on it. If you
slowslop, the big gigs are a total nonstarter. If the booth is $400
for a day, speedsling is make or break!
Fool that I am, I can't bring myself to do crapwork, even on drunken
headbangers anxious to get to the moshpit. The henna is going to be on
them after the hangover and bruises have subsided, and I want every
last one of them to have an interest and respect for this art, and to
check on the websites. That's so this art form can go forward,
instead of getting stalled at a novelty to be consumed and discaded.

Also ... whatever I learn will be turned over to the forum, so people
can walk into the killer venues knowing what skills they need to bring
in if they want to survive, or ... if they don't have those skills or
the will to walk into this particular level of hell .... they can
choose to decline.

Side note .... it's a bitch to henna drunks. They have so little body
consciousness that they can't hold still, even if you remind them ...
they sweat profusely ... and they have no damned impulse control at
all. And ... If Gwyn has to yell at one more drunk, "DO NOT PUKE IN MY
BOOTH GODDAMMIT", I may not restrain her from throttling them.
