Do you think it would work like cajeputor : tea tree? Neem oil is extracted from the neem tree in India, and it is not an essential oil. Neem has a buttload of medicinal uses : antifungal, great for psioriasis, anti-bacterial, good for hair and skin; but it smells absolutely awful. Imagine a very strong garlic-sulfur smell that's gone bad, and you have the bare inklings of how nasty it is. I put a couple of drops of neem oil on my head once to deal with stimulate some hair growth, and it smelled so bad that my SO asked me to sleep on the couch. Not only did it permeate the sheets, but it just filled the room with the smell. I don't think neem oil will give you the same results at all as cajeput or tea tree, and even if it did, I still wouldn't use it, because the smell would totally drive customers away. On a positive note : neem oil makes a dynamite natural pesticide. (and if I were a bug, the smell would definitely keep me off of plants.)
