Nick gave you great advice on how to deal with this and I can't addanything to that. I will say, however, that it doesn't matter too
much if you are young or old or somewhere in between, parents still
love to express their opinions about what their kids are doing. I
think it is tougher when you are a kid because you don't have the
freedom to do what you want, especially if you need a ride to the
mall to get supplies or to meet a client etc. Hang in there and be
cool; the pay-rents will be impressed by your ability to stick to
something you love and your maturity in dealing with opposition.
