On August 1st I mixed up three batches of paste using three different
powders:
Castle Art
Red Henna
Jamilla
I applied them, side by side, on August 2nd (24 hours after mixing)
on my leg...(lower calf - above the ankle - not a great spot for
staining on me) so far there is no difference in the color between
the three pastes...not real dark, kind of light brownish orange color.
I applied the CA henna mix on the back of my hand the same
evening...it is brown.
I will be doing a show tomorrow and using the CA henna. I don't
expect to be very busy at this show so I will probably have to time
to henna my palm and see how that does.
Oh, just another note....the CA henna mixed well and was kind
of "shiny" looking, had some nice and stringiness to it...the Jamilla
seemed kind of "dry" not shiny at all, very dull and little
stringiness...the "red" henna was slightly dull and had a little more
stringiness than the Jamilla but less than the CA.
Just my observations for what there worth.
