Hi Lisa,

Yes, that is it. The two designs on the page, I think, are good
examples of what one might consider a feminine (the foot) and
masculine (the arm bands). Those bold spaces and shapes seem to work
and like I said, sometimes I create those around the central theme of
a particular symbol chosen.
