No shame necessary since I'm not getting paid to say this...I've tried the super-terped paste now, and got pretty good results--
decent chocolate-colored stain, short-lived like we'd been told. And
having done so, I can say with some certainty:
I still like Willowhawk's Hot Mix better.
I love the way the lime/cloves/sugar/tea concoction makes my kitchen
smell, and the time making it is far better spent than it would be on
the inane sitcoms I'd be watching otherwise. And all the warm-fuzzies
of preparation aside, it still gives me the darkest stain I've had to
date, *AND* it's lasted longer on my skin than the "spiked" kind.
So, in the interest of giving credit where credit is due...
