How did your paste come out in triangles with a cone? Sometimes that happens to me when I've used it too much and worn out the plastic, but usually I get very consistent flow. Is the plastic you use not firm enough or is it b/c carrot bags create a seam? If you can't get good plastic and ever want to try cones without a pastry tip, another good material to use for cones are those Winton paper cone sheets - you can roll a cone from them and fill them right up. The only downside is that they are _way_ temporary and can really only be used for about 1/2-1 hour, but I once used them as "teaching cones" in a workshop because I didn't want to waste my good plastic. Hmm . .. actually these types of cones tended to have more "triangular" flow than my plastic ones, but I definitely liked using them when I didn't want to use up the good stuff. ~Rupal
