I'd love to see a pic.: : : : And, as I said, a synagogue floor from Jerusalem shows God's hand : : with henna stains. Campbell, Joseph; "Historical Atlas of World Mythology, Vol II: The Way of the Seeded Earth; Part I: The Sacrifice" has a b/w pic on p. 84 .... not the best reproduction, but that book is more available than others. It shows a red palm circle, possibly a representation of a solar disc. I've found "solar" circle henna patterns on many sources from 3000 BCE to 600 CE .... I think there's evidence to support henna being part of solar worship cults in the eastern Mediterranean, then spreading down to Ethiopia in the early Christian period as early Christianity had some aspects of the continuation of solar worship (birth of Christ at winter solstice, etc.)
