I've been trying to explain to a fellow artist (3-D stuff) how
compelling henna is and how I feel like I just have to "get it out"
like a purge almost. If I dont have the opportunity to henna, I get
fidgety, impatient, cranky. I will wait lonely and adrift at my
henna table at a sorry event just for someone with some bare skin to
walk by so I can decorate them for free, because at that point I dont
care if I make any money or not just so long as I CAN PAINT THEM!!

My friend asked me some poignant questions? Is it the actual henna
as a medium that you crave? or is it the act (ritual almost) of
sitting with someone, sharing their engergergies, and more often than
not intuiting a design for them? What is it about henna that makes
you INVOLVED and CONNECTED with so many things ancient that this art
form represents.

Henna is my crack!
