I go on and on about henna anytime, to anyone, anywhere ... no
limits, no restrictions (heheheh). Like Darla, I feel restless and
irritable if I didn't do any henna (though I DID go through a period
of several months of no henna at all, you can imagine I was almost a
monster *grins*).

I have a day job that I love and though I love henna more than my
job, I really can't make henna as my main source of income. I'd be
happy and content to just sit somewhere and henna henna henna, yes
even for free (if that means I could henna). Now, being paid for
doing it is nice too. I'd use the money to get new supplies of henna,
pay for transport etc etc. But seeing the pretty designs I make on
people's skin and the bright, radiant smiles from their faces is
sometimes enough to make me feel happy :). Personally, I think of
henna more as a very pleasurable hobby.

I was doing a bride once and as usual, I'd just get so engrossed with
doing it beautifully that I'd not talk too much and concentrate on
drawing. It might have shown on my expression or something (furrowed
eyebrows?) 'cos when I look up, she was staring at me and asked "You
really enjoy doing this, don't you?". To which I grinned brightly and
replied YES! Sometimes I wonder if I took those henna jobs just to
have my fix too, and not because of the money *grins* ... either
ways, as long as it's henna, I'm a HAPPY BUNNY! <--- with compliments
to the Reverend Bunny (the source of my many inspirations) :)

Love & peace,

~Jewel~
