Hmmm, different cultures will have different meanings. I can only
give the info I have at hand. Hopefully others will be able to fill
in the gaps.

: I have three questions, I am thinking about a tatoo and have three
: significant to me symbols, but unfortunately I don't know what
their
: signicance in many cultures are.
:
: 1. Star, five points, I have heard its relevance to navigationa d
: astrology, but am wondering its significance otherwhere

Basically each point is representative of Earth/North, Air/East,
Fire/South, West/Water and Spirit. There is a slightly different
representations, you will discover. There is the cosmology of man,
the cycle of life...etc. Just depends on what you want this to
represent.
And the Asian culture (not sure which) also breaks the elements down
in a different way, although I am not sure if they use a pentagram to
represent it or not.

: 2. Three leaf clover, Like a playing card, or Colnogo Bicycles
logo,
: Have only ever heard of four leaf and leperchauns.

A three leaf clover, or trefoil, is worn as a protective amulet
(according to a magickal herb book)

: 3. A symbol I saw in Japan, and was told it was the symbol for
: clouds, a beautiful design, three almost sperm looking objecst
heads
: toward the center, slightly spiraled.

Strangely enough, it sounds like a Celtic symbol, not sure if it's a
triskele or not. But do a search for Celtic knotwork and look
under 'tri' anything.
