In a celebratory moodPosted by Rupal on August 8, 2001 at 21:24:34: AHHH, I just finished my book project for my dorm (I had to make asort of yearbook). 96 pages all sent to the printers. PHEW! Anyway, in celebration I scanned the henna I've had on my hand all week. I was so happy with the fine lines I achieved. Of course, it's all because I used the stocking straining technique. I still think it's a little too gooey and messy, but for now I have no other options if I want to get pencil-thin lines! Going back to the mortar and pestle thing, I think I most like the idea because I wouldn't have crusty mehndi or dried powder getting stuck in the concave end of the spoon. That irritates me to no end. What I need is a spoon with two convex sides. Hmm. . . Anyway, here's a link to the photo! The design has faded quite a bit after three days so my scan wasn't so good, but it should be half-decent. ~Rupal
