If you must use "black henna"...

My boyfriend and I have been experimenting with henna for years, but
my little sis went on goliday recently and got a black henna tattoo
done - despite my warnings about PPD! (arg! but then again, she never
listens to me about anything).
Unfortunately she got no adverse reaction and loved it, so has been
badgering me to do one for her.
In the end I've bought Navaid's black 'henna' paste, which is PPD
free.
It took a lot mixing in the tube to get it to take, but it pleased
her, as I still haven't found a good recipe to get a nice dark henna
myself (any ideas??). All I'm saying is, if you have ineducated
friends/relatives etc. who really want a black stain, just point them
in Navaid's direction, if only to protect them from doing something
silly with nasty PPD-filled stuff.
