You can get vegetable based glycerine, as opposed to animal based or
synthetic glycerine. It's not great for dry environments as it tends
to suck out moisture, but otherwise helps to bind moisture to the
skin. It is very regularly used in homemade soaps and skin
formulations. Just make sure it is vegetable based and you'll be
okay. Does it really seem to help the henna mix??
