You can see the color my nails with with terped henna at the linkbelow. However, terped henna does not breach to the same depth as
unterped henna . (same as on the skin). Therefore, abrasion from
regular fiddling about will wear through the very shallow terped
layer, whereas nails hennaed without terps last longer, due to a
greater stain depth.
I had the henna on these nails 6 hours, unsealed. I do them once a
week if I want to keep the color nice.
