Yikes! Careful...Posted by Nick on August 13, 2001 at 20:21:36: In reply to: I'll try posted by BimboGeri on August 13, 2001 at 19:57:03: Unfortunately, there is not much she can do. One should NEVER hennaover a chemical dye, or vice-versa, because the affects could be catastrophic. Maybe your only option here is a haircut... ~Nick : The trouble with henna is that it is made of different stuff to your : average chemical hair dye. For a start, it is permenant, but the main : thing is that normal hair dye won't cover it properly. My advice is : to go and see a professional hair dresser who has dealt with henna : before. Don't go to someone who doesn't know what they're doing - : trust me, they could make it worse! : They might suggest finding a henna dye that makes your hair dark, : which I guess ought to cover your original henna (if anyone knows : different, please tell me!). Navaid does different coloured henna : hair dyes (www.navaidhenna.com). The Body Shop also do stuff, but : when I tried it it made my hair in bad condition... Hope that helps. : As a last resort, go for a cut ;) : hugs, BimboGeri
