I've had a few weird experiences with henna at the salon where I used
to work.

The first involved two boys who came in with their parents to get
henna done. One boy was about 10 and the other was much younger
(maybe 5 or 6). The older boy, of course, wanted a sports logo for
the Philadelphia Flyers on his hand, but was quite disappointed when
he learned that my henna didn't come in multiple colors and decided
eventually against getting any design. The younger boy, on the other
hand, was a total sweetheart, and he looked on in awe as I painted
swirl upon swirl on the back of his hand.

Okay, now that wasn't a really strange experience; a funnier, and
stranger one was when a woman asked me to paint a downward arrow
below her navel. And she asked me to paint some text next to it.
And what text was to be painted, you ask? "Kenny's Playground." I
laughed so hard . . . .

One day I almost got to paint the head of a guy named Rocco, but he
never showed up for his appointment!
