Old henna help!...my henna sucks!

my henna i currently have is really old and lost its greeness. isthere anything i can do to salvage it? do u guys kno any secret
recipes to like, restore its potency?? all i am getting from the
henna is medium orange stains that last only a week =( ...and thats w
lime, cajeput, sugar and olive oil.

Even w/ fresher stock my henna still sucks. the color i get (even
when using the Sirus recipe by CCJ) i still get light stains. if my
henna is still bright green, does that guarantee its fresh? or could
it be really old, and jus retaining its color?
