With my eyes only just about able to focus on the screen I've been
reading through the last few days' developments with some concern.

I agree, Catherine, that there are certain approaches to this issue
which stand a chance of working well, and certain that don't. Your
text looks very good to me. It picks points against which it is very
difficult to argue, while offering support in all other areas.

Once I can see a bit better, I'll take a closer look and see if there
is anything I can offer improvements on, but at first glance, I'd say
it looked perfect.

BTW, as you'll have guessed, the eye op went well, though it will be
a while before I have fully normal vision back.
