how to..and how long to store henna?

Hi, im pretty new at this, so I was wondering how LONG can I keep an
open cone of henna paste??
I don't think I'll be using all of it...is there anyway i can keep it
for a very long time?? In the fridge or freezer? In a bag/container?
I'm clueless!!
