I used Catherines information and research and used them as a guidlinewhen testing new EO's last week for myself. I mixed 4 batches with
cajeput and an extra teaspoon each of essential oils for scent and

The lavendar really left a beautiful DARK stain! So did portugese
orange. I tested several oranges varying in price by the hundreds
practically and the cheapest resulted in the best color. But the
lavendar and the orange really tied for duration and color.... Besides
they both smell so yummy. Though I am not in on the chemistry side of
things I was mightily impressed with these two oils.
