Hey Anne, yeah, I would be thrilled to send you a little something
for your store, I have your address. I have no idea what to send,
but I'll put a little something together. I don't really have any
photos, I'm pretty lame when it comes to that, but I do other cool
shit with henna, make up little flyers and stuff, I'll just put
together a care package.

I wanted to maybe help you with some ideas for other things to put in
your shop. Have you thought about having a collection of henna
related books for sale, islamic & indian art and design books, too?
Have you thought about having a rack or two of cool traditional
looking clothing, flowey-fabric type garments... hippie stuff.

Also, when I was in Paris this past June I wandered into a shop on
the Rue de Mouffetarde that was all about scarves, all kinds of
gorgeous fabrics from all over the world. They also had little
backpacks and purses and jewelry. Very eclectic (a little on the
trendy side), but hell I bought like five head-kerchief type things
for my dreads.

I know you want to have a mehndi shop, but does it have to be
strictly henna stuff for sale there? I think there is an abundance
of things you could have for sale in your shop that would not have to
be getting hennaed. That way you could reach a far greater clientele.
