they have to be on a website, and it has to be one that will allow you
to cross-post to other places (sphosting, geocities, suchlike don't
permit such)

Once they're on a website, you right click on the image, copy the
image location, and then paste that into "optional image URL". Post
the message as usual, but only after you wave a dead chicken over your
keyboard, dab a bit of honey on the modem, and offer some bits of
metal to your favorite techno-deity. Maybe the sucker will come up on
the first try.
