kanji?? (plese help)

I have to write an article about the use of kanji/chinese/japanase
characters for tattoos (temporary or permanent). I've read some
opinions here on the forum, if you could please tell me what you
think about this, why is it right/wrong?
aslo, a place that i could find more information on the use of
chinese characters for tattoos... (kanjitattoos.com doen't work
anymore)
If anybody could help, it would be GREATLY appreciated.
(all sources will be listed on the article, so maybe I can quote some
of you...)
