Honestly ... I don't think there's any way to prove that henna is
harmless. However, I can make an excellent case that it was
PREVIOUSLY regarded as safe by the FDA; that PPD, not henna, has been
the cause of all the problems ... and therefore people who wish to use
henna for religious, cultural, historical, and educational reasons
should be permitted to do so.
