: That's really pretty!
: On the subject of cones and stuff, I ran out of carrot bags last
: night (I'm sure the cat's been playing with them. Anything plastic
or
: crinkly-sounding is doomed in our house!!), so decided to raid my
: mum's old supply of cake-decorating stuff (as I've already said I
: used her coloured powders to make paint!!). Tried out icing bags,
: with the metal nozzles attached to the end, and was quite please.
: Have to use gloves though, as the bag gets quite oily :) Any
: thoughts??

My sister is getting hooked on henna now and she was going to try
using an icing bag and tips. She has been learning cake decorating so
she feels more comfortable using one. I will let you know what she
thinks if she ever gets around to trying it. With 3 kids, one of them
only 2, she doesn't get much chance to have fun.

I love the fine line I can get with the cone and I find that by
varying(how do you spell that word?) how hard I squeeze and how fast I
move it I can get some variaton in line thickness. I hope with
practice I will get better at it.

The first henna I had done was by a lady from India who uses cones.
She could do the most amazing things! If I can get half as good I will
be beyond happy.

By the way, my pregger cat has orange whiskers. She is very posesive
of me and when I was outside enjoying the weather (she is a farm cat,
and thus an outdoor cat)and trying a design on my foot she decided it
was there to rub her face on. Now I have a design with a faint orange
backgroud and she has a couple of orange whiskers.
